It’s all on at Crown

Bars. Restaurants. Shopping. Entertainment. It’s all in one place at Crown, and it’s everything you could need for a night out – or a day in.

Treat the tastebuds

You can’t explore Southbank on an empty stomach, and it would be a waste not to visit one of the bars that give the city its stellar reputation for cocktails.

Crown restaurants include the unmissable Ging Thai, an authentic Thai restaurant with an upscale twist and a vibrant mezzanine floor. Or for the undeniable craving for French fare, making a booking at Bistro Guillaume. This paddock-to-plate restaurant in an homage to French cuisine, with bistro classics such as steak frites and twice-baked cheese souffle keeping diners coming back time and time again.

Whether it’s a nightcap or a night-starter, a drink out in a Melbourne Crown bar is always a fun experience.

The Waiting Room is full of effortless glamour, it delivers a hit list of classic tastes and gourmet bar snacks along side contemporary twists of High Tea and cocktails that entice and delight. The Atrium Bar is the place to go to celebrate with friends over an effervescent glass of bubbles (or make it a bottle). And The Den is a moody, cosy basement bar with all your favourite spirits and a bartender who knows just what to do with them.

Are you entertained?

Never one to rest on our laurels, Crown is brimming with entertainment options

Think live shows, with everything from circus acts to comedy to music. These events run the gamut, with famous names on one night followed by local up-and-comers the next.

Think activities, with mini golf at Holey Moley to bring back some child-like fun into your grown-up days out, and Kingpin Bowling to put yourself to the test against the pins. Or you can work together to make your way out of an escape room at Red Herring, head to a movie at Village Cinemas, or belt it out at Juke’s karaoke

When you’re in Crown Melbourne, there’s so much to see and do that you’ll forget there’s a whole city outside. Just be sure to regularly check our what’s on page for upcoming events so you don’t miss a thing.

Spa Day

If you can’t remember the last time you treated yourself to a spa day, it’s time to start counting down until your next one.

The Crown Spa is an oasis in Southbank, with an Aqua Retreat, massage options, sleep support therapy, meditations, and more. Try a package to leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from head to toe, and don’t miss the hair and nail salon options while you’re at it.

Stroll in style

Southbank’s promenade is a miniature city tour of its own. Stretching from Princes Bridge to Queens Bridge, it’s all bars, restaurants, people watching, shops, and city views. You might also catch buskers and chalk artists, so there’s never a dull moment on this walk.

The NGV

The National Gallery of Victoria, better known locally as the NGV, is an iconic Southbank location, and a must-see for any visit. It’s two galleries in one, both with free entry to the permanent collections.

NGV International showcases fantastic works from around the globe, with rotating collections changing things up on top of the permanent collection. NGV Australia is the place to go to view world-class artists from across the country.

Under the sea

You might not have expected to see penguins, sharks, turtles, and even platypuses during your visit to Southbank, but you can at the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium. This stunning underwater world features aquatic creatures from around the Southern Ocean and Antarctica.

You can even opt for a shark diving experience in one of the tanks for something truly different.

Sky High

Melbourne is a beautiful city, and one of the best ways to see it all is from 300 metres up. Take a trip up to the highest observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere - Eureka Skydeck 88

From a simple tour to a dining experience, there’s a lot to do up here, and even more to see.

Southbank is the kind of place you can’t put a foot wrong. In one direction, restaurants and bars. A few steps in any other direction, entertainment and activities. And in the midst of it all, Crown Melbourne with bars, restaurants, activities, and entertainment all in one.
