Gas brigades

Eight towers along Melbourne’s Southbank shoot huge fireballs into the night’s sky, with jaw-dropping spectacle. An experience not to be missed, Crown Melbourne’s gas brigade evening shows happen on the hour, starting from the times below:

• From December 1 – first show at 21:00
• From March 1 – first show at 20:00
• From April 1 – first show at 18:00
• From October 1 – first show at 20:00

Final shows fire at midnight Sun - Thurs, 1am Fri - Sat, and the night before public holidays.

The firing of the gas brigades is subject to safety precautions including prevailing weather conditions and maintenance. The gas brigades do not fire on days of total fire ban for Victoria's Central Region as declared by the Country Fire Authority.
